Roisin is an Italian Irish writer and filmmaker.

She's the recipient of the 2020/21 Arts Council Ireland's Next Generation Artist Award in Literature. Her first feature film is currently in development with Screen Ireland with Roisin attached as writer-director. Since 2019 she’s been working on her first collection of short stories for which she received Arts Council funding. She’s an alumna of the 2021 EIFF Talent Lab for emerging filmmakers.

She is currently in preproduction with a short supported by Culture Ireland, shooting October 2021.

Her writing has been published by The Guardian, The Irish Times, Vice, Dazed & Confused, Elephant Magazine, Huck, and more. She has a bimonthly radio chat show with Montez Press called Decolonise Our Genitals. She co-runs Liquid, an art collective interested in intimacy.

She’s worked as a subeditor, assistant producer, researcher, waitress, camgirl platform manager, actor, and taco vendor.

She’s a graduate of the London Film School and Trinity College Dublin. She lives between London, Rome, and Dublin.
